Letter from the Founder
Hi everyone,
I’m writing today with a full heart and a meaningful update about the future of Parent Wellness Group.
After much reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Parent Wellness Group at the end of this year. This decision was not made lightly. PWG has been a place of connection, healing, and support for so many families, and it has been one of the great honors of my professional life to help build this community and to get to know our incredible clinicians over the years.
If you’ve worked with one of our clinicians, attended a workshop, read our newsletters, or found support through our resources and partners - you have been part of what made this work so meaningful. PWG was built on the belief that parents deserve compassionate, attuned care, and watching that vision come to life has been an incredible gift.
As we move into this transition, here’s what you can expect:
• Parent Wellness Group will officially close on December 31st.
Our clinicians will continue to work with their current clients through the end of the year.
• Starting January 1st, our clinicians will continue their work independently.
If you are an active client, you will receive a separate email outlining your options to continue care with your therapist or transition to a new provider.
• Our commitment to your wellbeing remains the same.
Even in closing, our priority is ensuring that every client is supported and has clear paths for continued care.
This next chapter reflects both an ending and an evolution. Over the past several years, my work has been expanding in new directions—supporting mothers, clinicians, and communities through teaching, writing, and the School of MOM. While this transition is bittersweet, it also creates the space needed for me to step fully into this mission.
To everyone who trusted Parent Wellness Group with your healing, your stories, and your families: thank you. Your vulnerability, courage, and commitment have shaped this work in ways I will never forget.
I’m immensely grateful for you, and I’m holding this transition with care for every member of our community.
With warmth and gratitude,
Sarah Harmon
